Movement Direction®

At UCLA, directing FASTatUCLA shoots have become my laboratory for exploring how fashion, identity, and human movement converge to create powerful visual storytelling.®

My creative work extends beyond performance and into the world of fashion, styling, and movement direction — where I blend motion, narrative, and visual storytelling to shape how concepts come to life on screen and in print. At UCLA, serving as a Director for FAST (Fashion and Student Trends) has become a defining pillar of my university experience, transforming not just how I understand fashion but how I orchestrate movement and narrative within creative spaces. Leading one of the university's largest and most prestigious fashion organizations, I oversee a multi-department team that produces an annual runway show, magazine, and creative campaigns — each project becoming a laboratory for exploring the intersection of fashion, identity, and innovation.

Through FAST, I've directed large-scale editorial shoots and guided interdisciplinary teams, but it's my role as Director of Modeling that has truly honed my craft in movement direction. Working intimately with models, I've learned to translate abstract concepts into embodied storytelling, guiding performers through the subtle choreography of pose, gesture, and spatial awareness that brings fashion narratives to life. This experience has taught me how a single shift in posture can transform a garment's story, how the rhythm of a walk can elevate a collection's emotional impact, and how directing human movement becomes as essential as any other element in visual storytelling. My UCLA experience through FAST has evolved into a comprehensive understanding of how fashion, movement, and narrative converge to create powerful, living art.
